Since tooling costs for brand-new TFT panel glass are extremely high (expensive glass photomask fees), the industry mostly adopts semi-customization. This means using standard-sized glass (such as 1.3", 2.4", or 7") but deeply customizing the external backlight (brightness enhancement), FPC cable shape and pin definitions, touch panel (CTP/RTP), and cover glass.

After drawing approval, tooling samples will be finished around 30-45 days
After samples approval, mass production goods will be finished around 30 to 60 days. Depends of the order situation and materials supply situation.
